Well, even though it snowed on Saturday, I was determined to go dress shopping! So we went. (And let me just say that people who don't know how to drive in a litte bit, a LITTLE bit of snow, should please get out of the way so that others can go slightly faster than a crawl. I'm just sayin'. But that's beside the point.)
We went to the dress shop. And the sales clerk lady said there's the dresses, pick some you like and we'll get you a dressing room. No "what kind of dress are you looking for?". No "What do you think you will like?". Nothing like that occurred at all.
Then I made it to the dressing room and they sent me in there by myself. Which normally would be no big deal at all. Except have you ever tried to fasten a wedding dress on by yourself? Doesn't really work too well. So I had Mom help me and we did alright.
But despite the not great service, we actually learned quite a bit about what I like and don't like, and what looks better on, and what doesn't. So all in all the trip was a success. But I won't be returning to that shop again!
This weekend, the search continues!!

I had the best luck with Norman's Bridal in Lebanon. They are so nice and so helpful you sit and they bring the dresses to you. It is a bit of a drive but it is so worth going.
