I saw a recipe for tomato pie on my Yahoo page today, and it sounded very intriguing...especially since you know, tomatoes are everywhere around here this time of year. The author of the page I found it on described the taste as "pizza meets cheesy bread in a yummy pie crust". Or something to that effect anyway. I like pizza. I like cheesy bread. A lot. Therefore, it follows that I would probably like tomato pie, seeing as how those two food items are not that crazily far apart on the taste sensation scale...
May have to try this recipe. Will let you know if I do, and post the recipe if its good. We shall see...
